The Berkshire Difference

Berkshire pigs are a heritage breed that originates from the English county of Berkshire. We chose to raise them on our farm for several reasons: they are friendly, good mothers, very hardy, well suited for pasture and, most importantly, they taste fantastic! Berkshire pork has been prized in Japan, where it is known as Kurobuta, for over 300 years for its excellent marbling characteristics that translate to a tender, juicy and flavourful meat.

​Classed as "Vulnerable" on Rare Breeds Canada's conservation list. Eating these wonderful animals is the only way to insure their unique genetic diversity is maintained.

3. Make a deposit via cheque, e-transfer, custom payment plan, or credit card on our Online Store
4. We will contact you and take your custom cutting instructions
5. Meet us at the nearest drop off  in Edmonton, Camrose, Red Deer, and Calgary to pay  your balance and pick up your order
6. Enjoy your meat!
